Mistakea made by youths

If you sow the wind, you will reap a storm...

Everything has its life cycle both animate and inanimate but the most fascinating and amazing of all is the HUMAN LIFE CYCLE. Right from conception till death, humans go through different stages of growth and development, each having its peculiarities one of them being the youthful era.

The youthful stage of a man's life is known to be filled with strength, responsibility, awareness, freedom, excitement, and the need to explore various things which they might have been restricted from during either their childhood or teenage years, the desire to see life through the lens of your new found freedom. During this season you feel like you are ready to take on the world, break new grounds, and set-new records-yes that is the joy that comes with being a youth. While those moments of glamor and fearlessness are good such desires can be detrimental to one's journey in life if not properly guided and controlled. Tons of people either have regrets or are thankful for the decisions they made in their youthful season.

Hence, the reason for this article is to point light on common mistakes youths make and ways to avoid them.

1)Blaming Their Background Or Parents For Their Current Status:Our reality or circumstances as a youth 'MIGHT' be a result of some decisions our parents have made during their own youthful life; it's now up to you as a youth to either correct the pattern or continue blaming your parents while you do nothing to live a life better than theirs. Your background doesn't define your future, you can use it to your advantage– make it a motivation to do better and rewrite the history of your family.

2)Believing They Will Be Young Forever: The glamor and strength have made youths forget that life is in stages and this particular stage is not made to last forever; what you do with it matters a lot as to how the outcome of your life will be. You have the strength to work now for days when you will have to depend on what you've worked for now to survive then. No two ways to it what you sow during your youth you will reap with interest in your old age. As a youth, you need to walk, work and live with your focus on the future.

3)Been Swayed By Trends: One of the blessedness of being alive is the opportunity to know and learn new things as you grow but does that mean everything that is portrayed as a trend Is fit for you to participate in? No! So many things portray themselves as a priority but in actual fact they are distractions. The frivolities of a youthful season might cause you to sway away from the path which you have known. Not all trends are for you. Know who you are and let it reflect in everything about you. If don't stand for something, you will fall for everything. Discover your purpose and stick to it.

4)Bad Company And Influence: The second point could be a result of bad company and influence. Who keeps you company determines what accompanies you; the company of fools shall be destroyed so says the bible. Your company has a great influence on your way of life and mode of thinking. Change your circle of friends if there's a need for it, move and listen to people which you desire to replicate the results in their lives.

5)Desperation to make a name for themselves: The strength of youths can be of serious damage to them, the drive and energy to see instant results and make a name for themselves has driven many to make hasty decisions. Youths have forgotten the saying which says "slow and steady wins the race", the process to success is tiring and very lonely as it requires FOCUS, SELF-DISCIPLINE, ACTION, PERSISTENCE, AND THE FEAR OF GOD but youths aren't ready to go through such long process and fraudsters are taking advantage of them. Good success doesn't happen overnight; do through the process. Do the work; it doesn't kill.

You dont have to look back at your youthful age and be filled with regrets and guilt. Do the needful now, be youthful and useful!
